Job Description
To undertake maintenance and repair of electrical systems and machines within the Tanzania Region in order to enhance their efficiency, safety and reliability
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Undertakes effectively the monitoring and evaluation of Electrical installations in order to facilitate interventions.
- Planned Maintenance: Undertakes efficiently the implementation of periodic inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations and machines in order to ensure their working order
- Corrective Maintenance: Undertakes timely repair of electrical systems and machines in case of breakdowns in order to prevent disruptions of operations
- Custody of Tools and Materials: Undertakes effectively safe custody of spares and tools for the section in order to prevent damages and losses
- Records Keeping: Undertakes timely the compilation of preventive and corrective maintenance documentation in order to retain a record for the section.
- House Keeping: Ensures regularly good housekeeping of work sites in order to eliminate hazards and ensure safety of staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Form IV Certificate
- Advanced Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Member of Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to write technical report
- Trouble shooting skills
- Computer literacy
- Team working skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Swahili
Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
